Route map

Choose between five Steam 1.0 storylines

Each brief explains what makes the route distinct, which named missions are currently indexed, and which details still need a current-build check.

CR

Route 01

Civil Resistance

A resistance-first route. After the God-Builders appear, the first documented task is a run of three missions against Civil Unity.

What changes your decision: The public 1.0 material confirms the route and overall story scope; individual branch rewards still need in-game confirmation.

Named missions in this guide

  1. ManifestoVerified

An official server-defence story mission. Official notes say the clone may evacuate if the server is destroyed rather than being forced into an immediate mission-failed exit.

  2. From a Spark, a FlameCommunity tip

Community route reference: follows Manifesto and is associated with higher Civil Resistance reputation.

    Show prerequisite note

Community-maintained wiki reference; confirm the current reputation requirement in-game.

Route ending count is not published

TZ

Route 02

Tezctlan

The alien-aligned route. Community documentation uses Poison Trial as an opening reference; confirm the current Secret Data trigger in-game.

What changes your decision: Official stable material confirms the route, but it does not establish a universal current reward list.

Named missions in this guide

  1. Poison TrialCommunity tip

Community route reference associated with Secret Data and the opening of the Tezctlan storyline.

    Show prerequisite note

The community-maintained trigger is not confirmed by the captured official 1.0.1 notes.

Route ending count is not published

XI

Route 03

Xiomara

The Feathered Masks route. The second tutorial is a known prerequisite, and Xiomara’s survival matters to a documented mission failure check.

What changes your decision: Keep an eye on Xiomara-specific failure conditions and confirm any reward in the current objective panel.

Named missions in this guide

  1. Laugh of TonatiuhVerified

Official notes record a corrected failure check involving Xiomara's death. They do not publish the full objective or reward.

  2. Madness Put to Good UsesCommunity tip

A community-maintained Xiomara / Feathered Masks route reference. Its trigger chain contains major spoilers and is intentionally hidden here.

Route ending count is not published

AC

Route 04

AnCom

A new 1.0 storyline. Community and Anarchy is repeatedly reported as a difficulty spike, so treat it as a gear and escape-plan checkpoint.

What changes your decision: Official material confirms AnCom is one of five storylines; the two-branch split comes from the pinned community ending revision.

Named missions in this guide

  1. Community and AnarchyCommunity tip

Community route reference links this mission with Secret Data. Recent players flag it as a major preparation check rather than a routine contract.

    Show prerequisite note

Confirm the current trigger and objective in-game; community reports are not a guaranteed 1.0.1 walkthrough.

  2. Men in BlackCommunity tip

Community route reference places this after Community and Anarchy and ties it to AnCom reputation.

    Show prerequisite note

Check the current reputation requirement in-game.

2 community-listed branches

RW

Route 05

RealWare

A new 1.0 corporate storyline. Covert Operations Guide and Reap the Whirlwind are the named route references currently indexed here.

What changes your decision: Official material confirms RealWare is one of five storylines. Patch notes separately confirm a Reap the Whirlwind softlock fix; branch count and rewards remain source-labelled.

Named missions in this guide

  1. Covert Operations GuideCommunity tip

Community route reference associates this RealWare mission with Secret Data. A grey start-button report exists only for an Early Access build.

    Show prerequisite note

Use the current 1.0.1 objective panel; do not apply the January 2025 workaround as a present rule.

  2. Reap the WhirlwindVerified

An official hotfix corrected a fourth-floor death softlock in this RealWare story mission. The public note does not disclose its full walkthrough.

2 community-listed branches

The official total is 38 story missions. This page currently indexes 9 mission names with usable public context; the remaining titles are not padded with placeholder cards.

AnCom · community-maintained sequence

AnCom story missions: a spoiler-safe route order

The pinned community route list orders AnCom as Community and Anarchy, Men in Black, Reload, Screamers, then Sonnenmensch. Treat that as a route map for orientation, not a current-build checklist.

Prepare for a commitment point

Read the current contract, difficulty display, inventory capacity, and extraction state before proceeding. Official 1.0 material confirms AnCom as one of five storylines and nine total endings; the branch split and mission details come from the pinned community revisions.

Unknown boundary: this page does not establish whether a route state can be retriggered, which prerequisites survive a patch, or what a current reward will be.

COMMUNITY-MAINTAINED SPOILERS · REVISION 12930

Trigger and opening location
The revision starts Community and Anarchy after giving PCPU to AnCom and waiting, then places it at Oddbjord-3 on Venus.
Recorded route steps
It describes recovering the golden skull in the opening mission, installing an Andreev Emitter during Reload, defeating four guardians before Urparp in Screamers, and reaching a final rite decision in Sonnenmensch.
Rewards and consequences
The community record associates Reload with a Phase Bomb recipe, faction-state changes, and a later point of no return. Sonnenmensch carries two outcome choices. None of these are an official current-build guarantee.

Men in Black and any prerequisite not summarized here remain source-bound unknowns. Verify the live objective panel before acting on a consequential branch.

Xiomara · community-maintained sequence

Xiomara story missions: a spoiler-safe route order

The pinned community route list places Forging a Pact, Peaceful Visit, Madness Put to Good Uses, Ruins of Ancient Bramfaturas, three Nakals entries, and Shattered Emerald in the Xiomara chain.

Prepare for a long chain, not a promised reward

Check the in-game contract state before moving between named missions and keep an extraction plan. The public record confirms the overall storyline, but does not prove a complete current trigger order or a route-specific reward table.

Unknown boundary: no Beta reward is imported here, and no community step is presented as a guaranteed Steam 1.0 result.

COMMUNITY-MAINTAINED SPOILERS · REVISION 12930

Trigger and locations
The revision starts Forging a Pact from negative Tezctlan reputation on Venus, places Peaceful Visit at Sinkhole Oasis, Madness Put to Good Uses at Flat Obsidian, and Shattered Emerald at the Feathered Temple.
Recorded route steps
It describes collecting three monolith fragments, recovering four FV-Screen pieces, completing Ruins of Ancient Bramfaturas, resolving the three Nakals missions, and carrying an eligible story item into Shattered Emerald.
Rewards and consequences
The community record associates the chain with a pact, a Phase Bomb item and recipe, a route lock, Olirna's awakening, and a severe reputation change after the final mission. These are community-maintained spoilers, not official Steam 1.0 promises.

Any prerequisite or reward not shown by the current objective panel remains unverified for the installed build.

Key Story Missions & Questlines Guide

Detailed walkthroughs, objectives, gear requirements, and failure conditions for the most frequently searched storyline missions in 1.0.

ANCOM STORYLINE

AC

Community and Anarchy

Widely cited by players as the major early-game difficulty spike. Infiltrate an AnCom-held facility to recover the Skull of Destiny (coded internally as quest_goldenSkull).

Prerequisite: Hand in Secret Data to AnCom or advance diplomatic ties.
Key Objective: Retrieve the Skull of Destiny & extract cleanly.
Patch 1.0.3 Balance: Rebalanced! Enemy counts on floors 3 and 4 reduced, explosion spawn frequency lowered, and final floor room count shrunk.

Tactical & Gear Brief

  • Armor & Resistances: High blunt and poison resistance is mandatory to survive high-tier Quasimorph melee attacks and toxic puddles.
  • Ammunition & Medical: Bring ample Sorbent (to purge infection/toxicity) and Morphine. Pack high-stopping-power shotgun or heavy ballistic ammo.
  • Item Outcome: The recovered Skull can either be surrendered to finish the contract or diverted. See the Skull of Destiny Guide for consequences.

REALWARE STORYLINE

RW

Covert Operations & Reap the Whirlwind

RealWare's flagship military campaign. High-stakes asset suppression and multi-floor infiltration against fortified corporate defences.

Prerequisite: Provide Secret Data to RealWare; sets up military contracts.
Key Objective: Sabotage critical assets across 4 heavily guarded levels.
Patch 1.0.2 Verification: Fixed a critical softlock on Floor 4 death.

Tactical & Gear Brief

  • Floor 4 Danger: Floor 4 contains heavy automated turrets and elite security forces. Do not engage in wide open hallways; lure enemies around door choke points.
  • Equipment Check: Pack EMP grenades or EMP Scorcher deployables to disable automated defenses, and carry armor-piercing 7.97 API ammo.
  • Historical Note: Earlier Early Access versions had a greyed-out start button report; in 1.0 ensure all prerequisites and ship location sync before deployment.

XIOMARA / FEATHERED MASKS

XI

Xiomara Questline: Nanauatzin’s Fire & Ally Pally

The primary Gannix / Feathered Masks route offering unique alien tech progression and early access to powerful blueprints.

Prerequisite: Unlocks after completing Tutorial 2 (Magnum management).
Failure Condition: Xiomara must survive. Losing named ally causes instant contract fail.
Patch 1.0.2 Fix: Fixed NPC pickup logic in Nanauatzin’s Fire; clarified evacuation.

Tactical & Gear Brief

  • Escort Survival: Never let Xiomara lead into unrevealed rooms. Scout ahead, clear room entries, and draw enemy line-of-fire away from VIP allies.
  • Quasimorph Control: Feathered Masks territories feature elevated Q-meter buildup. Carry cigarettes, alcohol, or quasimorphic pacts to suppress sudden Baron incursions.
  • Evacuation Check: Under Patch 1.0.2 rules, if the named ally is eliminated in Telegraph Ally Pally, the mission fails but your mercenary clone can still extract to preserve equipped gear.

Decision checklist

Before you accept a story contract

This is a risk check, not a loadout prescription. Patch 1.0.1 improved mission and difficulty tooltips; use the information now visible in-game before committing.

  1. 01

Read the objective and skull display

Confirm what the mission asks you to do and how the current difficulty is presented. Do not infer a route’s difficulty from an older forum post.

  2. 02

Check who gains and loses from the contract

Story and faction goals can pull in different directions. Decide which relationship or route matters to this run before chasing a short-term reward.

  3. 03

    Price the extraction risk

Steam’s official description is blunt: extract to keep the loot; die and you lose what the mercenary carried. Bring only the risk you are willing to take.

  4. 04

Separate a player report from a current rule

Recent discussions are valuable warning signals, but a dated post is not a patch 1.0.1 mechanic. Verify critical triggers in your current build.

Current player signals · not rules

What new players are actually asking

A small sample of recent 1.0 discussions repeatedly asks when to start story missions, how to identify them, and whether difficult missions can be retriggered. That tells us where the documentation gap is; it does not prove an answer.

Patch 1.0.4 & 1.0.3 · Story Updates & Softlock Fixes

Key story-state checks worth knowing

Official patches 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 addressed several major storyline progression blockers: Community and Anarchy received an enemy density and explosion rebalance; Telegraph gave Ally Pally higher HP and allowed Escort VIPs to pass through friendly units; Let there be light! fixed the nuclear abort countdown softlock; and Malleus Maleficarum fixed the multiple Red Chip terminal glitch. A dual Olirna awakening softlock between RealWare and Xiomara was also eliminated.

Published 19 August 2026, this 43-minute community walkthrough may reveal route setup and Xiomara context. It is deliberately closed by default and is not a verified trigger list; confirm every prerequisite, reward and failure condition in your current build.

Story missions FAQ

How many story missions are in Quasimorph 1.0?

The official pre-release 1.0 scope announced 38 story missions, plus two tutorial missions and two additional missions. That total is not the same thing as a public, step-by-step list of 38 verified walkthroughs.

How many storylines and endings does 1.0 have?

Official announcements name five storylines—Civil Resistance, Tezctlan, Xiomara, AnCom and RealWare—and nine endings in total. Individual branch labels and splits on this site come from the pinned community wiki revision.

Is this a complete walkthrough?

No. It is a spoiler-safe route index and preparation guide built from public 1.0 sources. Exact triggers, steps, rewards and failure recovery stay unlisted when they cannot be verified for patch 1.0.1.

Where should I track my progress?

Use this consolidated story guide as the canonical route reference. The retired tracker URL now redirects here so search signals are not split across two pages.
